The A-CUPCB-SPAV plays a significant and prominent role in liaison-ing with the local government in Southern India to provide technical advocacy, justifications for policy making, for evaluation of schemes, programmes and for setting benchmarks in urban planning and design projects. The A-CUPCB at SPA Vijayawada strives towards positioning itself as a think-tank for deliberative and counselling exercises for the government sector. The existing network of SPA Vijayawada is utilised and expanded to reach out to all government departments of relevance to provide them G2G advice-giving, reviewing, evaluation and appraisal assignments.

 The A-CUPCB-SPAV collaborates and integrates with industrial players from across the nation to embark upon assignments that help industry leverage and expand their services and products in the domain of urban planning and design. Specially designed industrial capacity building, industrial training, industrial advisory, quality improvement programs and industrial benchmarking assignments shall be taken to enable industrial players that are active in the fields of urban planning and design to deliver with the right tools, approach and models during the course of their service delivery. Such programs shall be need based and industry specific. The A-CUPCB-SPAV aims to reach out to industrial players in the fields of planning, urban design, rural development, transportation, tourism, real estate, sanitation and water, agriculture, landscaping and disaster management.
